The group has held more than 120 courses training over 12000 health care professionals in the GCC and Middle East. Dr. Dashash was first Saudi woman to be appointed as Assistant Director of health affairs and Director of Primary Health Care & Preventive medicine and later Assitant Director for Planning and Transformation. Lead the quality team to establish policies and procedures in primary care and in preventive medicine. Led the ‘Clinical Practice Guideline Committee’ – Established 15 Evidence Based National Guidelines for common diseases in primary health care. Has several books and publications in the fields of Evidence based medicine, Childhood asthma, Dengue fever, Medical education. Organized and participated in numerous National and International conferences. Director of Family Medicine Research unit at the Postgraduate Joint Program of Family and Community Medicine, Jeddah. |

He completed his residency training at McGill University in Canada and completed fellowships in Palliative Medicine, Pain Management, and Academic Family Medicine at University of Toronto. He had also served as the chairman of Family Medicine Education Committee in Oman Medical Specialty Board during the period from 2007 until 2017. He has interest in chronic diseases, pain management, and medical education. He is an Associate Editor of Oman Medical Journal and Sultan Qaboos University Medical Journal.
