International Family Medicine Conference & Exhibition (IFM)
On behalf of the scientific committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite all the experts and academics from around the world to the 7th edition of the International Family Medicine Conference & Exhibition – (IFM 2020), being held from 26-28, Feb 2020, at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center, Dubai, UAE.
Family Medicine is a specialty that serves people of all age groups delivering continuous and personal care to all members of the family. IFM was established with the aim of adopting a holistic approach towards family medicine and to bring all experts, physicians and doctors of various specialties all under one roof in order to exchange knowledge and experiences in the field of preventative and curative healthcare services.
The year will indeed be special for IFM in regards to healthcare updates, innovation and technology, as we intend to address all related healthcare topics within Primary Healthcare (PHC), specifically Family Medicine. IFM’s scientific agenda will go in line with the latest trends in the healthcare industry, such as the evolving role of technology in healthcare, the value-based outcome and the future of chronic diseases including diabetes and hypertension.
We also plan to discuss the latest in the world of pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology and geriatric medicine. In addition, IFM aims to focus on the state of mental health which affects nearly 15% of adults aged 60 years, and this is largely due to rapid aging population globally. Furthermore, IFM 2020 will also focus on vaccination and emergency medicine and how family physician deals with such situations in their healthcare setting.
In conclusion, I would like to welcome all family physicians, experts, scientists, researchers, speakers, nurses, students and key decision makers to join us at the 3-day IFM gathering in Dubai with the aim of improving knowledge, empowering family physicians and enhancing our skills, as well as engage with peers and colleagues for the sake of advancing family medicine.
Apart from providing an outstanding platform for learning, Dubai is also a warm and welcoming place laden with beaches, modern architecture and an amazing variety of cuisines and activities that are appealing for everyone.
I look forward to welcoming you all in Dubai, and I hope IFM 2020 will meet your expectations.
