Dr. Shai Efrati is a professor at Sackler School of Medicine and the Sagol School of Neuroscience of Tel Aviv University and the director of the Sagol center for hyperbaric medicine and research at Shamir (Assaf- Harofeh) Medical Center in Israel. The center, under Prof. Efrati management, has become the largest hyperbaric center worldwide, currently treating more than 300 patients per day. Prof. Efrati is also the director of Research & Development at the Medical center, affiliated to Tel-Aviv University. Taking the two passions/positions together Prof. Efrati has initiated a research program focusing on the neuroplasticity (regeneration of damage brain tissue) looking at the brain as a tissue and characterizing the non-healing wounds in the brain and bottle necks that prevents their recover. In addition to diagnosis and characterizing, neuroplasticity can be induced using dedicated protocols of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). The newly used HBOT protocol induce brain and tissue repairment by fluctuations in oxygen and pressure that initiate regenerative biological cascade usually happens during hypoxia in hyperoxic condition- the so called Hyperoxic-Hypoxic paradox (HHP). The clinical studies proved that HHP can induce neuroplasticity in different types of brain injuries such as stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, post- COVID, central pain syndromes and the so-called age-related cognitive/functional decline.

Dr. Barzilai is a geroscientist, chaired Professor of Medicine and Genetics, the founder and principal investigator of the Einstein Nathan Shock Center and the Glenn Center for Excellence in Biology of Aging. He also studies families of centenarians that have provided genetic/biological insights on the protection against aging. Several drugs are developed based, in part, on these paradigm-changing studies. He is leading the TAME (Targeting/Taming Aging with Metformin) multi central study to prove that concept that multi morbidities of aging can be delayed in humans and change the FDA indications to allow for next generation interventions. He authored of over 320 peer-reviewed papers and was a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the recipient of the 2010 Irving S. Wright Award of Distinction in Aging Research and is the 2018 recipient of the IPSEN Longevity award. He is on the board of AFAR, its scientific director and a founding member of the Academy for Lifespan and Health span. He co-founded CohBar and Lifebioscinces. He has been featured in major papers, TV program and documentaries (2 TEDx and TEDMED) and has been consulting or presented the promise for targeting aging at The Singapore Prime Minister Office, Prime Minister office in Israel, several International Banks, The Vatican, Pepsico, Milken Institute, Davos Economical Forum, and featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, The Economist and Wired Magazine. His book Age Later was published in the June of 2020.

Dr. Nicola Cogan joined University of Strathclyde in October 2017 having previously worked as a consultant clinical psychologist and clinical lead in mental health services in the NHS. She has over 15 years NHS experience working as a practitioner clinical psychologist in mental health services. She retains an honorary consultant clinical psychologist post in NHS Lanarkshire. Her consultancy work has largely concerned trauma informed practice with first responder and frontline workers. She completed a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D.Clin.Psy) at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to this she completed a PhD and MA (Hons) Psychology at the University of Glasgow. Her research interests are in the areas of mental health, wellbeing, recovery and citizenship in applied health contexts. She is involved with research adopting participatory multi-methods. She is a member of the International Recovery and Citizenship Collective led by Yale Medical School, where she has a strong working collaborative.

Dr Ateeq Qureshi is a senior Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with 15 years of experience in the UK National Health Service and 3 years in the Ministry of Health and Prevention, UAE. Dr Ateeq trained in London as a general psychiatrist before going on to specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the prestigious St Mary’s training programme affiliated with Imperial College London. Dr. Shamsa graduated from Sultan Qaboos University, with distinctions, in Bachelor of Medical Sciences and MD. She persuaded her postgraduate studies at McGill University, Montreal, Canada and graduated with Alice Benjamin Award of Excellence in Obstetrics. Dr. Shamsa joined UAE University at CMHS as a teaching assistant in 1995 and progressed to assistant professor in 2001. Later she moved to Tawam Hospital in 2005 as a deputy medical director and chief of Ob/Gyn department. In October 2010 she moved to Al Ain Hospital as a chair of Women Health Institute. She eventually returned to her passion of education to UAEU and was appointed as the chair of the department in 2015 to date. Dr Shamsa started her clinical path with interest in Fetal Medicine, for which she was a leading member of the team that established fetal medicine unit at Tawam and Al Ain Hospital as the first unit in UAE. She has the Fellowship of Ian Donald's School and master’s degree in advanced Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a proud Emirati citizen, Dr. Shamsa is holding some national duties as: Vice President Arab. Board committee, president of UAE Society of OB/GYN, director of UAE-ALSO Chapter and vice president IVF UAE licenser committee, etc. Over years of hard work her passion “UAE Women Health & Happiness” she built up her analytic scientific skills endeavors towards women health & women wellbeing and hereness the effort for leading national role in developing breast cancer prevention program, cervical cancer prevention program and UAE national antenatal program. Outstandingly, Shamsa advocate and introduced the women wellbeing concept in UAE among the medical field and public for raising their awareness of women care as holistic approach to ensure women resilience in life.
